Have you been looking for more developer resources? Look no further!
We — the Adobe Creative Cloud Platform and Ecosystem Team — want to make you more successful — whether you are new to the platform or an experienced developer of Creative Cloud Apps. You can currently find much of the official documentation of our APIs and SDKs through either developers.adobe.com or adobe.io/console (and if you’re having trouble logging in, check out this article.).
If you’re looking for resources that go beyond that, like hands-on workshops or videos from Adobe and great content from the community of developers, check out our new developer resource page on Behance. Check out our collection of hands-on workshops, including sample files to build your first plugin for both Adobe XD (thanks to Pablo Klaschka) and for Photoshop. The latter includes an extra session on advanced UIs using React.JS, brought to you by Simon Henke, developer of multiple Photoshop plugins (both for CEP and UXP).
︎
Have you tried Alchemist for Photoshop? This plugin listens to (most) Photoshop events — a lifesaver for Photoshop developers.
Have you heard of the ultimate course from Davide Barranca on Adobe UXP plugins development with React JS? It even includes a chapter on business of plugins!
Find all of this content on our new Behance page: Creative Cloud Developers here.
We want to continue to add workshops and tutorials that you need or request, as well as with content that you may have already published and want to share with the broader developer community. Please give us feedback or share your developer resources with us here.
Show Off Your Plugin to Users on our Creative Cloud Plugins Page and the Adobe Creative Cloud’s official YouTube channel
Reach a larger audience of Creative Cloud Users who could want your plugin!
For a few months, we have been presenting a guest developer and their plugin live during each Photoshop Prerelease meeting and making the plugin showcase available publicly after the meeting on our new Behance page.
The page isn’t just for Photoshop plugins. We have plugin showcases of other Creative Cloud applications, more than 40 already. We’re currently talking to other product teams for access to their prerelease communities. Over time, we will create a powerful collection of demos and plugin showcases on Behance, with an underlying playlist on the Adobe Creative Cloud YouTube with 1.2M subscribers, which is already gaining traction. We believe that this will get a lot of attention over time from Creative Cloud users, Adobe field teams, creative communities, Influencers, and bloggers.
Do you want to showcase your plugin here? Let us know!
