Explore the headless capabilities of Adobe Experience Manager
Adobe Experience Manager has multiple options for defining headless endpoints and delivering its content. When you’re setting up your implementation, it’s now also possible to use Next.js for your delivery.
Next.js provides a great developer experience to build React apps that are ready for production, especially with hybrid static and server rendering.
This example application, using Next.js, demonstrates how to query content using AEM’s GraphQL APIs with persisted queries. The AEM Headless Client for JavaScript is used to execute the GraphQL persisted queries that power the app.

Extend and integrate with Adobe Developer App Builder
Adobe Developer App Builder, our unified extensibility framework for building cloud-native apps, has been available in Adobe Experience Manager since December 2021. Now, we’re excited to share that App Builder also supports Adobe Commerce and Adobe Experience Platform. This integration enables developers to create custom experiences, tailor-made to your business and workflow needs, that extend Adobe solutions and run on our infrastructure.
In addition, customers of Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure will receive bundled capacity of App Builder as a part of their license.
App Builder for Adobe Commerce simplifies how developers extend native commerce capabilities. It also makes it easier to integrate with third-party services to build composable shopping experiences. Learn how App Builder helps drive business agility for your commerce platform.
Coming soon: Starting in May 2023, Commerce apps powered by App Builder can also be listed on Adobe Commerce Marketplace (with Adobe Exchange coming later in 2023). With the introduction of this program, independent service vendors will be able to build enterprise apps using modern cloud native technologies, and leverage Adobe’s distribution channels to get access to thousands of Adobe Commerce customers.
